Our managing director, Karen Curtin, shares the latest updates from Graven Hill.
Firstly, I am extremely excited to announce an air date for Grand Designs: The Street, which will follow the stories of our 10 pioneering self-builders as they create their homes at Graven Hill. We hope that you will all be tuning in next Thursday at 9pm for the first of six episodes on Channel 4. As the series progresses, we will also be releasing more information on each self-build, so do keep an eye out for regular updates over the next six weeks.
We also have plenty to report from site, beginning last month with our first ever ‘Self Build for All’ seminar. This fantastic evening gave us the opportunity to share a selection of informative presentations on all things Graven Hill and self-build.
The event also gave keen self-builders the opportunity to have their questions answered by a handpicked selection of experts, who discussed everything from finance and instructing an architect to choosing the specifications for your turn-key home. We hope that everyone who attended came away fired up and equipped with plenty of ideas about how to bring their projects to life!
In fact, it was such a success that we’ve decided to run another session on Wednesday 3 April. We hope to see some of you there, armed with notepads to make the most of this one-hour masterclass! Places are limited, so please book your tickets in advance.
